VRChat is a virtual reality social platform that allows users to easily build social virtual reality content. Any virtual world built with the VRChat platform instantly becomes a social VR world. This means VRChat users can explore and play in these worlds together, in a social setting. Using VRChat, content creators can take their 3D worlds and be walking around those worlds in VR, with friends, in under an hour. Users can then sell their content to other users using the VRChat market place. VRChat is targeted towards anybody creating or consuming VR content. However, we are focusing on the VR gaming subset at launch. There are no consumer VR headsets available yet, but numerous companies expect to release consumer products by early 2016, including OculusVR, Sony, Samsung and Valve (partnered with HTC). VRChat will work on all of them.
